Know Thyself began with a shared drive: to understand what makes us who we are.
Phil Parkinson, a serial entrepreneur and Mike Hill, an Emmy-winning game and film designer, met in a coffeeshop in Mexico where conversation turned into collaboration.
They agreed that everyone is fascinated by the human mind - about what makes us tick. Yet modern psychology can be obtuse, overly technical and, thus inaccessible. The idea that emerged was what would happen if they rolled their shared love of psychology and symbol into a game.
That idea became Know Thyself.
