Played this for the first time with my wife and two married friends.
It feels like apples to apples where you choose what you think the person thinks of themselves to get points but the reasoning and respectful reflections on your own opinion of them opens up beautiful affirmation and constructive insights that will help people grow closer together. Definitely recommend

This is an amazing game. Bought it on a whim thinking it would help create connections or self awareness. My husband and I will play this a lot. Not keeping score but just a way to have a deep meaningful conversation and learn more about ourselves and each other.

I played Know Thyself with my partner and honestly, it surprised me. We already have a stack of question decks and even a book because we genuinely enjoy going deep with each other, so I didn’t expect this to feel that different. It did.

This game pushes you past surface level reflection. It asks you to look at yourself honestly and reflect back what you see in the other person. That combination created conversations that were both really beautiful and, at times, uncomfortable, but in the kind of way that actually moves you forward.

The cards themselves are thoughtfully designed and cover a wide range of what it means to be human-values, fears, patterns, desires. It doesn’t feel gimmicky. It feels intentional.

We also played with friends, and that brought a completely different (but equally meaningful) dynamic. That said, this only works if you’re willing to be real. If you hold back, you’ll miss the point. But if you lean in, the payoff is huge.

If you’re someone who values depth, growth, and real connection in your relationships, I highly recommend this game.
